How it started
Founder of ArtistPA Lara van Oudenaarde (MA Fine Arts, Leiden Uni (Nl),
Manama in Curating, Ghent Uni) has experience in various creative domains such
as communication, organization, fundraising and research. She was curatorial assistant
and manager of international press trips for Jan Fabre at Venice Biennale and
Manifesta12, Palermo. Lara knows the value of highly personal guidance and
long-term partnerships.
Lara joined Starterslabo in 2020, a Startup programme in Ghent that enabled the
transformation from freelance to full-time cultural mediator. She developed lasting
collaborations with Arne Sierens, Tom Herck, Hassan Khayoon and
Beefcake Publishing (Ghent), among others.
ArtistPA's mission is to support and promote contemporary art and culture. Connecting
the creative sector with other sectors and with current social themes, ArtistPA anchors art
in our daily lives. ArtistPA develops an innovative program with a clear vision of the
concept and the intended audience.
